  • Session handling with Spring Security

I wonder if Spring Security combined with Spring Fremawork is capable to handle session related operations automatically?

I mean at user login creating a session and assinging it to the user; instatitating session scoped beans within this session; and finally at logout (or session timeout) dismiss those beans and log the user out.

Do I have to configure something explicitly for this?
I don't know Spring Security's session handling services and capabilities. In the reference guide there's not much about session handling, just the concurrent session handling feature and session fixation protection.

Could you please give me some advice?

    Thanks in advance,
    A.

I am also trying to understand session handling and session beans.
In my case I'm looking how to instanciate session and related session beans from a preauth mechanism. Or maybe how to manually instanciate/kill them would also do the trick I guess.
      Can anybody help us ?

      Many thanks !
