  • Wrapping Exceptions

    Hi,

I have a RCP rich client application with a tomcat-server. Configuration of Acegi works for authentication and authorization of secure services.

But some exceptions get thrown e.g. AccessDeniedException, UserDisabledException, BadCredentialsException,...

Is it possible to wrap those Exceptions (at the server) in an own definied AuthorizationException ?

    Regards,
    Roel

Presumably you can just use a filter to catch the exceptions and rethrow whatever you want?

Like an exceptionTranslationFilter or a custom one ?

Just a plain javax.servlet.Filter with a try/catch block in it. Why do you need it? Do you have some kind of remoting issue with the exceptions?
