  • What is the "key" property for?

    Hi,
    I use the anonymous processing filter in my acegi configuration and do not understand what the property "key" is for?? Can anyone answer that? Would be great...

    Thanks
    Aron

    P.S.: Here is my anonymous processing filter config:

    <bean id="anonymousProcessingFilter" class="org.acegisecurity.providers.anonymous.Anony mousProcessingFilter">
    <property name="key" value="changeThis" />
    <property name="userAttribute" value="anonymousUser,ROLE_ANONYMOUS" />
    </bean>

    The "key" property of the filter has to match the "key" property of the AnonymousAuthenticationProvider. This is to ensure that the token actually originates from the provider and not, for example, added by malicious client code.

    Regards,
    Andreas
