  • Access denied : 403

    I would like to redirect users when an error 403 occurs.

    I tried to specify an accessDeniedHandler but it seems that in ACEGI 1.0.0 RC2 there isn't an AccessDeniedHandlerImpl class.

    Is there another way to specify the 403 page ?

    <bean id="ExceptionTranslationFilter" class="org.acegisecurity.ui.ExceptionTranslationFi lter">
    <property name="authenticationEntryPoint" ref="formLoginAuthenticationEntryPoint"/>
    <!-- <property name="accessDeniedHandler">
    <bean class="org.acegisecurity.ui.AccessDeniedHandlerImp l">
    <property name="errorPage" value="/pages/erreur/erreur-securite.jsf"/>
    </bean>
    </property>
    </bean>

      I've resolved this problem with a declaration in my web.xml

      <error-page>
      <error-code>403</error-code>
      <location>/pages/security.jsf</location>
      </error-page>

      It seems that AccessDeniedHandler is a new feature in ACEGI 1.1. If you don't have this version, use mine ;-)

        Hi silver95
        The configuration for 403 page is correct.
        I tried different hings my slef and finally using this configuration in my application.
        The other way you can redirect the 403 error page is you can declare in web.xml
        defining the <error-page> attribute.
        <error-page>
        <error-code>403</error-code>
        <location>/pages/erreur/erreur-securite.jsf </location>
        </error-page>

        but by doing that you wont be in the application when the /pages/erreur/erreur-securite.jsf is displayed.
