  • Disabled Cookies

    Hi everybody,

My task is to rework a webapp, that uses spring security for login. This login-area is currently only accessible if cookies are enabled at the client's browser. If they are not, the ;jsessionid=<SESSIONID> url parameter is appended to the first page after login but not to the following, because I didn't used JSTL to output URLs, nor called HttpServletResponse.encodeUrl on URLs.

I added <c:url> to my links, this works fine. But when it comes to sumbit forms or to redirect from my MVC-Controllers the session gets lost and the user is logged out.

The easiest way would be, if there exists a filter, that I could include in the web.xml's filter chain, that automatically appends ;jsession=<SESSIONID> to urls if cookies are disabled. Is something available?

    Thanks so much in advance!
    tara
