  • [Meta] Hyperlinking to SVN revision numbers

As a Roo user, I'd find it really helpful if the team could include a hyperlink to the Roo FishEye whenever they mention an SVN revision number either here or in a JIRA comment. For example, instead of writing "revision 999", they could write "revision 999".

This would make it much easier for the community to see what has changed in each revision, which in turn has several benefits:
    • allows the community to perform informal code review (code review being an excellent way to detect bugs before they are released)
    • provides insight into Roo itself, e.g. the separation of concerns between various packages
    • less experienced developers in the community can see (in bite-size pieces) how to write (and modify) good code
Is that something that could be done without imposing too much of a burden?

I updated my existing entries with links and will continue to do so in future.

Another option to follow ROO commits is to subscribe to Fisheye RSS feed for ROO trunk

Thanks Alan, much obliged (and for the RSS feed, which will be handy too).
