There are several approaches to hide menu actions:
1. You can disable actions on a controller level through the @RooWebScaffold annotation. There you can disable the create, update, delete as well as the finder functionalities. This will then also be removed from the menu as well as the list views accordingly.
2. You can manually remove menu items from the menu.jspx file.
3. You can install the spring security addon and wrap certain menu items with the <sec:authorize> tag to control access to the menu items.
