How to update Exisiting JPA Entities With ROO AnnotationsPage Title Module
If the entities already exist it makes sense to annotate them manually with the relevant Roo annotations (@RooJavaBean, @RooToString, @RooEntity come to mind) and then start the Roo shell to have Roo generate the relevant ITDs for your newly annotated Entities. Once that is done you need to make sure that the AspectJ compiler is integrated with your build solution so the ITDs can be woven in to the entity bytecode at build time.
