  • Roo'ing existing domain model

    Hi,

I'm trying to use Roo on an existing project, where our domain model is in a specific Maven project. Is there an easy way to do this ? We do already have an MVC architecture with spring and hibernate, I was really just trying to get the automated web part working with CRUD operations (the Pizza example is really good at highlighting how "easy" it is do get something basic working). Is is possible to get that ?

I've found this thread where someone says:
    2) Roo does not support multi-module maven projects at the moment and so you will have to have your web layer in the same project as your domain model.
That was 3 years ago, is it still the same ? I don't want to change our domain classes. Probably I'd just want to change the controllers to do some calls to our service layer.

    Thank you!

From some versions ago, Spring Roo has multi module support.
