  • Roo shows error on start

    Hi,

On starting Spring-Roo, it displays some errors before offering the command prompt (roo>). But any command takes forever. I'm new to Roo, but I guess, start up error might have something to do with the commands taking forever. Effectively, after getting the command prompt I do get suggestions on TAB, but not able to do any thing.

Following is the error which Roo displays before offering the command prompt:

    Code:
        ____ ____ ____
       / __ \/ __ \/ __ \
      / /_/ / / / / / / /
     / _, _/ /_/ / /_/ /
    /_/ |_|\____/\____/ 1.2.0.RELEASE [rev 39eb957]

Welcome to Spring Roo. For assistance press TAB or type "hint" then hit ENTER.

Still do not know the exact reason and the best way to resolve. However, removing the cache did the trick for me (I moved the cache folder - spring-roo-1.2.0.RELEASE/cache) and restarted roo.
