  • Port is not available ... STS.

Hello friends. I have a problem when running my project.

I have a problem with the port on my Mac Ox.

I parked the port 8080 is being used.

I've tried changing the port, but can not find a solution.

    thanks for the help.

You must have another instance of your web container running, either in a terminal window, or in STS itself. When you look at the console, there is a little down arrow to the left of the console window that allows you to go to other console windows when you have more than one running. If you see others running, select them and stop those servers. Or stop the server in the terminal window if you have it running in one of those.

But typically you don't have other things running on the 8080 port, like a network adapter or something. It is typically a web container, which you are running but haven't stopped.

Or you can reboot your Mac, that will stop that other web container.

As far as changing port numbers. In the Servers tab, just double click on your server and its configuration should pop up. Look around I believe port is on the top right, second one down, right near timeout.

    Good Luck
