  • Roo and plain Eclipse

    Hi,

I'm trying to use Roo and Eclipse with the AspectJ and m2eclipse plugins installed. And I've run into a few issues.

First eclipse thinks that the default pom file generated by Eclipse is malformed. It issues the following error messages.

    Code:
plugin execution not covered by lifecycle configuration: org.codehaus.mojo:aspectj-maven-plugin:1.2:test-compile (execution: default, phase: process-test-sources)
    Code:
Overriding managed version 2.2-beta-5 for maven-assembly-plugin
    Code:
Plugin execution not covered by lifecycle configuration: org.codehaus.mojo:aspectj-maven-plugin:1.2:compile (execution: default, phase: process-sources)
Secondly the project wasn't marked with an aspect J nature. So I added that. However when I look at the AspectJ setting I see that no aspectJ jars are set in the various paths. See attached screen shots.

My question is: Is my project configured properly in eclipse?

    thanks

I've seen similar messages, and have been able to ignore them. If your project builds and runs, no further action is necessary.
