  • Accessing Databases setup in ROO

    Hi

I have been trying to access the databases setup with ROO's persistence setup but to no avail. I like to use RazorSQL to inspect and manipulate my databases. Does anyone know how you can connect to the H2/Derby in memory databases with an external tool? Are these databases entirely in memory? If I use a persistent one (Hypersonic) where does ROO place the Database files? This has got me stumped

    any help greatly appreciated.
    Regards

I usually use a script to run a persistent Hypersonic db, such as:
    Code:
    #/bin/shell
    java -cp /home/stewarta/.m2/repository/org/hsqldb/hsqldb/1.8.0.10/hsqldb-1.8.0.10.jar org.hsqldb.Server --database.0 file:tmp/roo1696 --dbname.0 xdb
    # database.url=jdbc:hsqldb:hsql://localhost/xdb
You can specify the directory of your choice.
