  • Spring Roo 1.1.5 - Cloud Foundry Deployment => Operation could not be completed: 400

    Here is my problem:

I created a very simple app:

    1) database: mysql with hibernate
=> is the problem here? what do I have to enter when creating the app. I want to use the Cloud Foundry MySQL support, thus bind it to a service after it is deployed. Maybe I do NOT need a persistence configuration before I deploy it?

    2) one simple entity with one attribute

    3) gwt setup

That's it. A very simple Roo app.

I logged in successfully via cloud foundry login. Then I tried to deploy my application (first via CREATE, then via the WAR file). The following messages is shown in the roo shell (everything seems to be fine, but the problem is the last line of the following console output :-) Is there a problem with my Cloud Foundry login, or what else could be the problem for the "error 400"?

~.entities.Project roo> cloud foundry deploy --appName test1 --path CREATE

Unfortunately, I did not find a complete Roo + Cloud Foundry tutorial yet...

Hope you can help me. Thank you.

Hey megachucky, I believe you are receiving the error because the name is already in use. Please try to use a different, preferably something a little less common, and let me know if that solves your issue.

      Thank you James,

another (unique) name worked. Nevertheless, this error message should be fixed soon. Messages like this one are the reason why Spring Roo is very frustrating sometimes...

      Best regards,
      Kai
