Is there a way to empty it without restarting the application?

Asking in particular because the views seem to be cached, and not refreshed when modified unless they are removed from the cache first, i.e. unless the cache is emptied.

Roo views are not cached. All view artefacts are retrieved from a relational DB of your choice. If you update a type you should be presented with the updated values. By default, your database is deleted and recreated upon application restart so all data is lost in this case, however you can change your settings in persistence.xml to keep the entered data across application restarts.

    HTH,
    Stefan

Sorry Stefan, I was apparently not clear.

What I meant is that if I for example change the order of fields in a .jspx view, the view will keep showing the old order unless I restart at least the application, maybe STS itself.

        Hi Carlos,

I just tried this with STS and changing the order of fields in the create.jspx for example is immediately reflected in the rendered form in the browser (both the browser in STS and external browsers) after a page refresh.
