Does Spring support distributed JMX Notifications?

The Spring 2.5 Reference and the book Spring in Action both seem to me to cover using JMX for local notifications, but I would like to use Spring with distributed (remote) notifications via the JMX-provided RMI connector.

Is there a way to do this and, if so, where can I find information on that?

    Spring Does Support Distributed Notifications

It turns out that Spring does support distributed JMX Notifications very easily. One simply must specify the normal JSR-160 Remote JMX Spring configuration (RMI Registry and server-side connector) and then can use NotificationPublisherAware with a Spring-exposed bean-turned-MBean (MBeanExporter) to publish JMX Notifications locally or remotely. Additional details on how to do this are in the blog Publishing JMX Notifications with Spring.
