started a topic git repo via http protocol?

    git repo via http protocol?

Is there a HTTP protocol url available for the spring ampq for java repository? I'd like to access it from behind a corporate firewall and ours doesn't like the git protocol.

    Thanks,
    Shane

Thanks Mark! It's a big help for people behind corporate firewalls.

HTTP is now available as a Git clone URL option on any repo at git.springsource.org

    Thanks for the feedback!

Our system administrator is looking into it. We do now have public access to git.springsource.org, but keep an eye out for the http clone URL support.

+1 for "git clone http://" access. Wanted to demo it to the client, had to git it to my phone, tar it up, and send via e-mail.. Not really "gitty"

    Shane,

We are actually planning to provide HTTP access to the Git repository for Spring projects. There are some issues to be resolved related to the configuration of privacy settings first. Please stay tuned!

    Thanks,
