  • Minimal AMQP Configuration

    I'm new to AMQP processing and have struggled to configure my outbound connection. I've given it an honest effort to figure it out on my own, but have run-up against the time vs. value barrier. So, if someone could please provide me with a minimal configuration for a publish and subscribe setup given the following config, it'd be greatly appreciated:

    <!-- Rabbit/AMQP Configuration -->
    <rabbit:connection-factory id="amqpConnectionFactory" />
    <rabbit:template id="amqpTemplate" connection-factory="amqpConnectionFactory"/>
    <rabbit:admin connection-factory="amqpConnectionFactory"/>
    <rabbit:queue id="queue1" name="queue.1.name"/>
    <rabbit:queue id="queue2" name="queue.2.name"/>

    <rabbit:fanout-exchange name="fanout.exchange.1.myexchange">
    <rabbit:bindings>
    <rabbit:binding queue="queue1"/>
    <rabbit:binding queue="queue2"/>
    </rabbit:bindings>
    </rabbit:fanout-exchange>

    Have you looked at the samples?

    The Hello World is about as simple as it gets although it does use some JavaConfig rather than XML (in the HelloWorldConfiguration class).
