  • unable to find ip namespace

When I attempt to run my app inside of tomcat I get the following error:

Unable to locate Spring NamespaceHandler for XML schema namespace [http://www.springframework.org/schema/integration/ip]

The offending integrationContext.xml has the following:

    xmlns:int="http://www.springframework.org/schema/integration"
    xmlns:int-ip="http://www.springframework.org/schema/integration/ip"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/integration
    http://www.springframework.org/schem...ntegration.xsd
    http://www.springframework.org/schema/integration/ip
    http://www.springframework.org/schem...gration-ip.xsd ">

The spring-integration-ip-2.0.1.RELEASE.jar is in the WebContent/lib directory and the app has no problem locating the spring-integration.xsd. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be going on?

    Thanks

Shouldn't it be in WEB-INF/lib directory?
Where is the spring-integration-2.0.1.RELEASE.jar? Are you sure that it is successfully located as well or you just assume because the only error you see is pointing to IP module?

Sorry I elided the WEB-INF out of the path. Yes, the lib is in that dir. The spring-integration-core-2.0.1.RELEASE.jar is also present in the same directory. The tracle/log info indicates that it resolved the namespace for the integration itself.

I downloaded the integration zip again and verified there is no spring-integration-2.0.1.RELEASE.jar.

      Thanks

How are you building your war? Maven? Ant?

        Type
        Code:
        jar -tf <war>
        to list the contents.

Or, are you running directly from the IDE? Which IDE?

If STS/eclipse, do you have both the ...core... and ...ip... jars in the deployment assembly property?
