  • first pass load test with SI looks good (using 2.0.0.RC1)

On a dev box (Single cpu) with other applications running on it, i was able to process 10 messages per sec on both Winodws XP and Linux os.

    Application logic is as follows
1)Get the message from Websphere SI bus
    2) Transform the payload
    3) http post to customer site.
4)Create a message from request headers as well as response text and send this to another queue on websphere SI bus
5)I case if error(step 3), the request message is sent to another queue after x retries. Each retry starts at step 1 above. No delayer used.

I had 10-50 consumers on mdca processing 20K messages.

Sometimes my app chokes during startup. I kill the app and restart it.
Is this because of number of consumers, i am configuring at the start?

I just upgraded to 2.0.0.RELEASE and will re-run the load tests.
    Thanks

Are there any exceptions, stack trace we can look at?

When i run it with 2.0.0.RELEASE, i can provide that. However, i am not sure if i can post it on a forum.
For the previous run, only exceptions are the exceptions i throw back for retry due to some error condition in the flow.

The only issue that puzzled me was, the app blocks when it tried to start the MDCA with "10-50" consumers. It only happened twice though.
Will watch out for more data in my next run.

Let me know, if there are any data points you want me to check on.
