    Code:
    <int:inbound-channel-adapter id="aliveTrigger" expression="'i am alive'"
            channel="logger">
            <int:poller fixed-rate="30000"></int:poller>
        </int:inbound-channel-adapter>

        <int:logging-channel-adapter id="logger" level="INFO" expression="'##**==>Logging channel rceived: '.concat(payload)" />

        <stream:stdout-channel-adapter id="stdout"/>

        <int-jdbc:inbound-channel-adapter
                      query="${select.pending.rows.query}"
                      channel="logger"
                      max-rows-per-poll="10"
                      data-source="oracleDataSource"
                      >
              <int:poller fixed-rate="1000">
            <!-- <int:transactional/> -->
          </int:poller>
        </int-jdbc:inbound-channel-adapter>
    The jdbc adapter seem to be doing nothing at all, nothing is printed, no errors.

    I can see this on log => 16:16:00.781 [task-scheduler-2] DEBUG o.s.jdbc.core.JdbcTemplate - Executing SQL query [SELECT ....

    but after that nothing happens.
    The alive trigger is working fine tough as expected.

    Thanks for your help.

    But maybe your "SELECT ... FROM ..." returns nothing from DB...

      Thanks Artem, the issue turns out to be in connection pool setting, somehow it was not able to give it a connection but there was no error message either.
      Thanks for answering.
