  • Wanna know clarity abt SI

    Hello All,
Am new to SI(SpringIntegration) and i wanna know some exact advantages of SI..I ve given a sample scenario and i need ur help whether is it possible to use SI in tat case..If so, i need a clear explanation where our SI plays its role and if we don't use SI in that case wat ll be d complexity..

    Scenario:
A java class which fetches some 1000 records from database. Some of these records should be pushed in file F1 and some more in file F2 and rest in F3 in xml format. After implementing this if requirement changes like some data should be put in another file F4 how to configure this.Is there any easability in SI?

    Thanks in advance...

You should have a look at the links from the Spring Integration home page:
    http://www.springsource.org/spring-integration

Especially look at the Reference Manual. It has sections on File support and Message Routing which sound like your main requirements.

From your description of the use-case, I would also recommend looking at Spring Batch, since it might be a better fit for the low level reading and writing:

You can use the two (integration and batch) together very easily.
