This is an interesting question. Note that any Spring ApplicationContext can already be used as an SCA composite, so a Spring Integration-based context could be deployed within an SCA environment. The SCA Spring Component Implementation Specification defines support for Spring components as services, references, and properties - including an 'sca' namespace for use within a Spring configuration file. However, there are additional opportunities for the Spring Integration project in particular, and we will definitely be exploring those.
