  • JMX Object naming strategy

    Hi ,
Would it be possible to show the current integration performance stats exported as MBeans under a customized naming hierarchy? Basically, I would like to show all the MBean types under the following structure in my jconsole/JMX client:
    MyApp
    |---------Integration
    |-----------MessageHandler - >and tree follows as is currently shown.
    |-----------MessageChannel

I need to be able to add the MyApp and Integration parent folders to the JMX MBean naming hierarchy.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Anoop

Unfortunately, no; the convention for object names is Domain:type=xxx,a=b,c=d,...

The IMBE, currently uses MessageHandler etc in the type attribute, hence it's always the first node in the tree after the domain.

You can add additional elements to the end of the object name using the object-name-static-properties attribute (references a <util : properties /> object.

We could consider a more flexible object naming strategy for integration MBeans; please feel free to open an Improvement JIRA issue here https://jira.springsource.org/browse/INT.
