  • Do SI beans support <qualifier value="" />

When using @Autowired with a SI bean, for example <int-http:inbound-gateway>, is there a way for it to use the Spring bean <qualifier value="myGateway" /> so the @Qualifier will be able to qualify an ambiguous dependency?

It will work for some inbound endpoints but not for outbound because they get a generated name. See https://github.com/SpringSource/spri...UnitTests.java

However, beware of using the generated name as a qualifier because it is brittle (the name depends on the order the element is declared).

We have an open JIRA to support giving endpoints with generated names an alias, related to the element name; this should make it into 2.2, in milestone 2 (milestone 1 will be out shortly).

Thanks for the prompt answer. I'll check out those unit tests.
