  • Header with dots

    I'm trying to inject a header value to a transformer with :

    Code:
    @Header("hello.cruel.world")
    The problem is that it complains about "hello" does not exist.

    It's actually my bad, because it's perfectly documented that the @Header value is an SpEL expression, but I can't reach to find the proper expression to get it :

    Code:
    @Header("headers.get('hello.cruel.world')")
    Won't work neither.

    Do you hace a recipe for this?

    That's true and there used to be an issue for that. Headers can not have dots if you want to apply spel on them since '.' is treated as property delimiter by SpEL. Consider that a limitation for which there is nothing we can do.
    In fact its a Java limitation since you can't have private String my.name = "oleg";
