  • Exposing spring integration services as endpoints

    Hi,
I am not new to spring as a framework but a newbie for integration. I have a requirement to create services that will get exposed as endpoints over HTTP protocol. These services will be request reply based and use integration heavily. The endpoints will consume and produce serialized data (using thrift or Avro).
I have written the services and these can consume my domain requests and create responses successfully using integration. My problem is that I am clueless about how to add the serialization part and how to expose this service. Any guidance/help/ example will be helpful.
P.S. I have read the manual and am aware of the serialization transformers and the Http Inbound /Outbound Gateway. I am confused about how to wire these together and the strategies if any to achieve this.

As far as serialization it is another word for transformation, so I would suggest to look at http://static.springsource.org/sprin...mation-chapter

Hav you looked ay our samples? There are plenty that could give you a hint as far as how to wire various components together based on various use cases:
