  • How does spring data for mongodb perform bulk operations?

Does spring data uses the new MongoDB Bulk API - http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/reference/method/Bulk/ for bulk operations?
Can you please point me to the version which supports this new API or in which version this support will be available?

Another question is Does spring data supports manual referencing also or it supports only DBrefs? Is there any way to avoid automatic fetching of documents when using DBRefs?

    Thanks,
    Abhi

We currently don't support the new Bulk Operations of 2.6 - we created an issue to track this: https://jira.spring.io/browse/DATAMONGO-934

You can set the lazy-Attribute on a @DBref association. This will generate a proxy that provides lazy-loading capabilities.

Please, move your question to the StackOverflow - we are going to close this forum soon and rely on SO.
We need to clean this forum (old unanswered question) before close it.

      Thanks for understanding
