  • MongoOperations.mapReduce() without reading the resulting data back?

    Hi,
I've came across the MongoOperations.mapReduce() function. It seems that all its overloads of this function do two things at once. According to the source code it first calls the MapReduce command in Mongo and then loads the contents of the resulting collection (inline or physical) back into the Java application.
What I would like is just to perform the MapReduce operation. Then sometimes later I'd like to read only some filtered parts of the resulting collection, not the whole.
Is anything like that possible with the current implementation of Spring Data Mongo, or I have to use plain Java Mongo API or internals of the Spring Data Mongo? I'm using Spring Data Mongo version 1.0.3.RELEASE.

    Thanks in advance!
