  • Grails plugins for Spring Data

Sorry, I haven't searched or seen recently if there were any updates. So I am just going to ask in a thread.

What is the status of using Spring Data in a Grails application. Or about plugins for the NoSQL database APIs that Spring Data covers, like MongoDB, Neo4J etc in a Grails application.

Back when I last checked the Neo4J Plugin for Grails from Stefan was not working, but that he was going to start working on it. I think I might have heard it was released, I will go check.

    Thanks

    Mark

    Mark,

Our very own Stefan Armbruster has some stuff here: http://www.slideshare.net/darthvader42/grails-and-neo4j

I haven't tried it myself though...

      Hi Mark,

the Neo4j plugin passes the grails-data-mapping TCK green (except some test for nested transactions and optimistic locking). The long term plan is to migrate the Neo4j Grails plugin to use Spring Data Neo4j.
In the short term, there will be a new plugin release shortly. Any feedback is appreciated, for bug reports please use https://github.com/SpringSource/grai...ing/issues/new

      Cheers,
      Stefan
