  • Spring won't instantiate repository after moving from mongo M3 to M5

    Hello,

    I recently upgraded my spring mongo from 1.0.0.M3 to 1.0.0.M5 due the fix

    https://jira.springsource.org/browse/DATAMONGO-238

    which is needed for my project. After successfully updating to all the new package names, spring is no longer able to locate and instantiate the repositories specified in

    Code:
    <mongo:repositories base-package="com.my.repository.location" />
    I end up getting the error

    Code:
    NoSuchBeanDefinitionException: No matching bean of type [com.my.repository.location.RepositoryName] found for dependency
    My repository also extends PagingAndSortingRepository. Is there anything new that needs to be specified either in the application-context, or in the repository itself for spring to instantiate it? This was working before the move to 1.0.0.M5, so I assume it has something to do with the migration (I also tried with M4 which also didn't work).

    Any help with this would be much appreciated! Thanks!
