  • NoClassDefFoundError: RepositoryFactoryBeanSupport

    spring-data-mongodb-1.0.0.M3
    spring-data-commons-core-1.1.0.RELEASE

    Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/springframework/data/repository/support/RepositoryFactoryBeanSupport

It is only available in spring-data-commons-core-1.1.0.M1

I read the spring mongo reference, there are a few ways to do configuration, blabla. To be honest, i feel that adds no much value. I also use python mongo, that takes less than 5 mins to start serious coding. Please "KISS" first and think something later.

in commons-core-1.1.0.RELEASE RepositoryFactoryBeanSupport class was moved to the org.springframework....repository.core.support package
mongodb jar might be relying on the older commons-core (pointing to the old old package), you can either try to use the older commons-core OR use newer versions of mongodb (or even snapshots).
i had the same problem with spring-data-neo4j graph. seems like the spring-data-* teams don't coordinate releases yet.
