  • Neo4j and "Type mismatch" using @RelatedTo

    I have imported the hello world project. However, in the World.java the lines...

    Code:
    @RelatedTo(type = "REACHABLE_BY_ROCKET", elementClass = World.class, direction = Direction.BOTH)
    private Set<World> reachableByRocket;
    Eclipse red-flags it and gives...

    Type mismatch: cannot convert from Class<World> to Class<? extends NodeBacked>
    I am also experiencing issues with the pom.xml as outlined in this SO question. Though, I think I have a work around for that.

    I am using Eclipse 3.6.2 with AJDT (2.1.3.e36x-20110614-0800) and STS (2.7.0.201106142206-CI-B1162) and the latest 1.0.0 m2e plugins.

    I've searched the web up and down for an answer to this but I am finding nothing.

    Have you tried to rebuild the project and restart eclispse?

    The AJDT project lead spoke of some caches that are still around after updating the plugin.

    Cheers

    Michael

    I will look into my own Eclipse installation to compare the plugin versions.

      Restarted, cleared caches, heck even tried a whole other workspace. For now I am giving up on m2Eclipse and just using maven from the command line and maven:maven goal to build the eclipse part.
