  • ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded

    Hi,

We are using Spring JDBC for our project. The application is deployed on JBoss 5.1 app server and the connection pool is managed by JBoss. Our business logic is implemented in Oracle (10g) stored procedures and we invoke the procs using Spring's StoredProcedure classes.

During a load test, our application went down complaining "ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded" exception. I tried to Googling about it; I saw few guys telling this as a bug in Spring JDBC that it doesn't close the JDBC resources properly. Is it a real bug in Spring JDBC? Have someone faced this issue and found a solution?

Please let me know if it is a genuine bug or I am missing any configurations.

    Thanks,
    Niranjan

It's more than likely you, not Spring.
