  • DataSources configuration for a web app

    Hi,

In my development box, I have the commons-pool.jar, commons-dbcp.jar, commons-collections.jar and a JDBC driver under the Web container's common/lib directory. Now, in my deployment box, I am asked to keep those library files under the application directory by the hosting service. For my reading, I can't see how it can be done. I only see the related instruction as the README file of the Petclinic:

"... With JTA, you need to set up corresponding DataSources in your J2EE container. "

Can the DataSource configuration changed to the application directory? If yes, how to configure it?

    Any helpful information is appreciated.

You can put all of them in your web applications WEB-INF/lib directory.
