  • Create JNDI DataSource

    I currently have a webapp that is loading a datasource for DAOs, such:

    <!-- set up the data source stuff -->
    <bean id="xxxxDatabase" class="org.springframework.jndi.JndiObjectFactoryB ean">
    <property name="jndiName" value="java:comp/env/jdbc/xxxx"/>
    </bean>

    This is using the jndiName of the DataSource created by tomcat. I wish to use this DAO file for a test system where I supply the JNDI datasource myself, but can't seem to figure out how hibernate does it so that i can do the same thing.

    Anyone know how?

    Thanks.
