I find this tool really fine too and Spring make it easy to use!!
As a matter of fact, there is too mode:
- The first with a constructor that takes the datasource to wrap
- The second where P6Spy try to lookup the datasource to wrap with jndi
The first is really simpler to use and there is nothing to do on application server
