    Hi all, first question here.

I have a doubt about Spring + Hibernate + Transaction Interception (prolly beacuse I'm new to AOP).

    1) I configure the beans (correctly) one of them as a TransactionProxyFactoryBean.

    2) Some class calls a method in the target DAO that is defined in the TransactionProxyFactoryBean. That method has no special code to handle exceptions. It just loads a collection and updates some values.

    3) During execution one update fails with an exception. Previous updates have worked.

    Does it rollback automatically?

If no updates fail does it auto-commit?

    Is it magic?
