  • Detecting a change in database?

    Hi,

How can I detect a change in my database from my java source code?

javax.sql has a RowSetListener where an interested component can listen on to a RowSetEvent when there is a change (update, insert etc) in the database. Can a same thing be done in Spring?

    Thanks a lot.

This is very database specific: Oracle has support for sending JMS messages from database triggers (a good Oracle DBA will show you how). Other databases might have similar capabilities.
