  • BeanDoc and Spring attributes

    I am new to Spring and to beandoc, so apologies if this is trivial. I am trying to generate doc's using the beandoc ant task, however I get the following error:
    "Unable to parse or validate input resource"

    I am using the following versions:
    JDK: 1.5
    Spring: 1.2.4
    BeanDoc: 0.6.2
    OS: Windows XP

    When I declare my bean definitions using the new Spring attributes eg:
    <bean id="dataSource"
    class="org.springframework.jndi.JndiObjectFactoryB ean">
    <property name="jndiName" value="java:comp/env/jdbc/testDB" />
    </bean>

    I get the error. However if I use the old Spring method of
    <bean id="dataSource"
    class="org.springframework.jndi.JndiObjectFactoryB ean">
    <property name="jndiName">
    <value>java:comp/env/jdbc/testDB</value>
    </property>
    </bean>

    it works. I noticed a previous post about this error but it said the problem should be fixed with the new version 0.6.2 (point 4 of the changelog says only map entries).

    are these new Spring features handled or have I misunderstood something?

    thanks in advance
    Ben

    0.6.2 is pretty much a borked build, I uploaded 0.6.3 a couple of days later which fixed this problem.

    CVS is currently better if you can get it as it enables recursive imports via the <import/> tag and fixes the issue with not being able to use spaces in output location directory names.

    Regards,
