  • singleton per session

how do i implement a singleton per session approach?

can it be done via xml?

any ideas or suggestion that would allow me to do this in spring will be very much appreaciated.

    thanks

Per HTTP session? This feature has been in the sandbox for a while and will be added to Spring 1.3. It will probably go into CVS head as soon as 1.2.5 goes out.

See for example http://oldwww.springframework.org/downloads/nightly/ or use the CVS server http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=73357.

Note: As I'm not related to the Spring dev team, I don't know whether the singleton per HTTP session stuff is there or not.

              Hi

              http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.p.../target/scope/

You'll want to look at pretty much everything that starts with 'Scope'.

              Ciao
