  • What is a "generic constructor arguments"?

    Hi,

    what's a generic constructor Argument?

    I keep getting this Exception:

    Context initialization failed
org.springframework.beans.factory.UnsatisfiedDepen dencyException: Error creating bean with name 'generator' defined in ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml]: Unsatisfied dependency expressed through constructor argument with index 3 of type [de.galt.shopng.generator.LanguagePacks]: Ambiguous constructor argument types - did you specify the correct bean references as generic constructor arguments?

Could you post your constructor and a piece of the application-context where you use the constructor.

This exception simply means that your constructor expresses a dependency that couldn't be satisfied through the constructor arguments that you specified for the bean.

Actually, the "generic" part of the exception message is slightly misleading: It should simply say: "Did you specify the correct bean references as constructor arguments?"
