  • Missing spring-modules in spring-osgi repository

There is no Spring-OSGi related forum so I am posting my problem here:

I am trying the Spring-OSGi tutorials "HOWTO create a new Spring-OSGi bundle project" ( http://www.springframework.org/node/361 ) and "Setting up Eclipse for Spring-OSGi development" ( http://www.springframework.org/node/360 ) including "Instructions for checking out the source" ( http://static.springframework.org/ma...epository.html ).

My problem is that there is currently only spring-aop in the svn repository at spring-osgi/spring-modules. But in section "Import the Spring modules bundle projects" on http://www.springframework.org/node/360 all spring modules are expected including spring-aop, spring-aspects, spring-beans, ..., spring-webmvc.

That's why I am not able to complete the tutorial. Please help!

Build/Test failures using the spring-osgi-1.0-m2 tag

In the meantime I tried to work on the spring-osgi-1.0-m2 tag from the svn repository which provides the missed spring-modules. But "mvn install" failed as it was not able to get the org.apache.felix maven-bundle plugin of version 0.9.0-incubator-SNAPSHOT.
I added the pluginRepository http://people.apache.org/maven-snapshot-repository/ in the maven POM but now I get a compilation failures in "Building Spring OSGi JUnit testing bundle" in the org.springframework.osgi.test.platform.FelixPlatfo rm class.

Compared to working with plain OSGi services or OSGi Declarative Services it is hard to get something to run with Spring OSGi.

    Help is still appreciated!
