  • Visually browsing spring beans

Are there any tools that anyone knows of that enable one to browse the beans in a running application context, such as inside an appserver? For example, I might want to browse to some bean in the app context to see what it's properties are and what collaborators got hooked up.

We used to use Dynamo and the admin console was very useful in that any bean managed by the container was inspectable (and changeable, like in JMX) without further configurtation.

Is there any such tool for Spring?

we had a similar requirement, we ended up exposing methods thru mbean ( JMX). it's a very simple but certainly not the elegant way. I guess, spring framework is not intrusive and wants to stay that way <- it's probably the reason it doesn't support it. I'm sure somebody will come up with tool pretty soon.
