  • Spring on Java System Application Server (SJSAS) Enterprise Edition doesn't work

    Hi All,
    We've just moved a simple MDB from the platform addition 8.1 2005Q2 UR2 of SJSAS to the enterprise edition 8.1 2005Q1 and the app server has started coughing up the following error message:
    org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationExce ption: Error creating bean with name 'fileAuditEventDao' defined in class path resource [applicationContext.xml]: Instantiation of bean failed; nested exception is java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission getClassLoader)

    We have tried several different combinations of permissions in the server.policy file and nothing seems to help. Does anyone know what we need to configure to get it working?

    Cheers,
    Dan

    p.s. If you have a choice, steer clear of SJSAS...

    Hi,

    Maybe these links provide some usefull info: http://weblogs.java.net/blog/felipeg...ecurity_1.html
    http://java.sun.com/security/jaas/doc/api.html#Policy

    I think you should start the application server with the appropiate security options like in the example:
    /jdk1.3/jre/bin/java
    -classpath doc/samples/sample.jar:doc/samples/sample_action.jar:doc/samples/sample_module.jar
    -Djava.security.manager
    -Djava.security.policy==doc/samples/config/sample_java2.policy
    -Djava.security.auth.policy==doc/samples/config/sample_jaas.policy
    -Djava.security.auth.login.config==doc/samples/config/sample_jaas.config
    sample.Sample
