  • Annotation Based configuration tutorial/book

    Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to Spring. Could anybody tell me of a Tutorial or Book that shows me how to create a Spring bean, which has a DAO as a property, and how to configure the HibernateTemplate for that DAO. I'd like to do that using Annotations.

I've seen that I need to include <context:annotation-config/> in the Bean configuration file, but how should I call that file and where should I place it in my jar?

Should I configure my DataSource in this Bean Configuration file, or can I use annotations as well somewhere?

    I'd appreciate any help.

    Annotation Based configuration tutorial/book

The best documentation for Spring is their reference

You can also find numerous examples in their repository. I have given link for JPA one, but you can find many in there. Springsource blogs is also a very good source.

You can also google your requirements and will find many examples for your setup.

    Hope this helps
