  • boot - launching tomcat f. integration tests

    HI,

    for maven integration tests i want to launch the embedded tomcat. How do i do that?

    I thought this would do the trick:
    <plugin>
    <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
    <artifactId>spring-boot-maven-plugin</artifactId>
    <executions>
    <execution>
    <id>start-app-server</id>
    <phase>pre-integration-test</phase>
    <goals>
    <goal>run</goal>
    </goals>
    </execution>
    </executions>
    </plugin>

    but server doesnt start up (or doesnt start up in time) and stays open

    + how do i use profiles like
    --spring.profiles.active=test
    in the <configuration> section

    We are currently in the process of moving to stackoverflow.com for our forums. If you're still having this issue please consider asking it again at http://stackoverflow.com using the #spring-boot tag. If you do post it there, please reply here with the link. Thanks!
