  • Groovy-based example with multiple controllers and beans

I'd like to create a Groovy-based example that uses multiple controllers and beans that leverages the ability to launch the app using the "spring run" utility on the command line. (Not having to worry about extra import statements for the Spring annotations, or manually configuring Gradle/Maven, is pretty nice.)

It would be ideal if I could do something like this...

    spring run App.groovy

...where the App class is annotated with a @ComponentScan annotation (similar to the Java example that already exists).

Is this possible? It doesn't seem like this utility adds the current directory to the classpath, because I keep getting "unable to resolve class" errors.
