    I was looking / running the samples to see how the SpringValidator works... I do NOT see where any message property file is defined to hold the external messages (i.e. for isin_length')? All the samples use this as the example:
    { isin : length(?) < 13 : 'ISIN too long' : 'isin_length' : 12}

    They all print the DEFAULT message 'ISIN too long' only in the Errors class that is returned? Am I missing something to make the external message be returned? Does this functionality work in the samples provided? Where is the message property file defined and the configuration???

    Thanks...

    Probably you need to create a MessageSource in the application context (with bean name "messageSource"). It's a standard ApplicationContext feature, but I'm only assuming that's how the validator hooks into messages.
