  • Spring Batch on Enterprise Server

    Hello ,
While looking into scalability options for java batch, i came across this article where it talks about leveraging Enterprise server for java batch applications. especially clustering, connection pooling..

    http://java.sys-con.com/node/415321

Checking if anybody has done some work in this area ? Appreciate your input.

    Thank You
    Ramana.

Interesting article (a bit old and behind the times even when it was published, but still a good read). Spring users generally prefer not to be tied to an application server.

My summary: Spring Batch is really a non-JEE (i.e. non-EJB) embodiment of the ideas in the article as a framework for application developers, as opposed to a self-help guide for the roll-your-own approach.
